Recipe management - securely manage recipes and mixtures

In research and development laboratories in particular, the number of chemical and reagent formulations is constantly increasing. With MAQSIMA LAB+, the corresponding recipes can be developed and managed conveniently and, above all, safely.

 

The receipt of goods and the storage of the raw materials are maintained with the associated status information in a separate area. Configured release workflows ensure the flexible handling of raw materials and recipes depending on the regulatory requirements and the need for protection. In this way, different workflows can be defined for GMP or non-GMP recipes or for production and development.

MAQSIMA LAB+ - the fully integrated recipe management

The creation and development of a recipe can be clearly displayed in MAQSIMA LAB+ with a tree structure. Manufacturing instructions and protocols are created and managed in the system. When preparing a mixture, the recipe quantities can be scaled as desired and the weighed items can be booked out of the warehouse. The mixtures can then in turn be stored as components and are available for further use. The INCI calculation is possible for cosmetic formulations.

Due to the full integration of the recipe management in MAQSIMA LAB+, samples can be created and checked from manufactured mixtures and batches.

Tests according to the specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Eur.) are indispensable, especially in laboratories in a regulated environment. The Ph.Eur. Regulated tests are often carried out in a multi-stage process and cannot simply be expressed as a result.

Frequent checks are required, for example, to show the dissolution (with and without Q), the content uniformity (Ph.Eur. 2.9.6), the mass variation (Ph.Eur. 2.9.40), the impurities and contamination or the linear regression . As a rule, the result is to be displayed in a table with rows and columns.
